Lucifer

More in the beginning there was a man, a blue truck, and I. We found a squirrel and named it Lucifer but there was no connection to the devil, it was a tame squirrel. It was just the squirrel’s name.

Then somewhere along the path of this dream I ran into Lulu bird and she was playing with the squirrel.

Then at one point I was back at school, back at the dorms, sort of. Then I ran into Jazmine and it was really nice to see her. I told her that in another dream we met up and she didn’t care, but this time she was really excited. And I liked that.

Her hair was nice and soft. She was riding this moped and she said I could ride it with her but I really couldn’t. There wasn’t enough room and I had too much stuff. It was raining and we were going down hill.

We were going to her friend’s house somewhere near by. That’s why she was there. We got to the entrance of this place. To get in you had to crawl under this grate. It was real hidden, and there was a more convenient entrance somewhere else, but we didn’t know about it.

Her friend wasn’t home, her shirtless tattooed brother told us. He had an apartment a few steps up. He seemed real rude. He had the same name as hers but a boy version. I forget what it was but it started with an A. and their last name was Piccadilly.

He went back to his apartment but left the door open. There was somebody else there, some psychobilly chick. She started to talk to us and play with Lucifer, the squirrel. Then the brother walked back in the room and was all “what the fuck are you guys doing here? Is that a squirrel? Get out!” What rude character.

I kept on feeling this weird tingling on my back that was seriously annoying me. I turned out to be the vibrating alarm clock on my phone…ugh I woke up late, but glad I woke up.

Lately, when funhouses or things that are related to childhood, are involved in my dreams, they usually end up dangerous. The same goes with this dream. I was at some sort of museum where there were these interactive robots {like in those pioneer towns, in the saloons and what not}. A lot of the exhibits were fun to look at {but I admit I don’t remember them}. Then I was walking along with the other kids when we passed by this red curtain, like the ones for theatres. I deviated from the group to go behind the red curtain, to find an exhibit on Dracula. I enjoyed it at first with its campy atmosphere and haunted carnival ride music, but then things started to get unnerving. The mechanical Dracula started to stare at me, and then it started to come after me at an alarming rate. I seemed to have gone into several rooms because I was having trouble finding my way back. There were green curtains that I didn’t remember going through and then I saw the red curtain. I ran through them, not daring to look back and found that all the kids I was with were gone and one of my good friends was there. As if I didn’t think I was going to die a minute ago, I told my friend that it was just little scary and he told me he felt the same. It’s like nothing happened.

glass and gravel

I was on this enormous bridge. It had been damaged as if there had been an earthquake or something. There were holes, broken cables, glass, and gravel everywhere. I was running on it because I had to get to the end to get something. Then it seems like my niece comes out of nowhere. When she appears she falls into one of the cracks of the bridge and I reach out to grab her. While I’m holding onto her, she screams and cries out to me. I’m holding onto her and I look down to see the dark sloshing waters below. I finally pull her up to safety and carry her the rest of the way. At the end of the bridge there is a firehouse. When we get there the lights are all on and there sounds like there are people there, but no one is really there. I bandage my feet because they are bleeding. I had been running barefoot along the bridge of broken glass and gravel. In the end we are wrapped in blankets, seemingly surrounded by people but we’re really just outside of a firehouse at the end of a broken bridge
